We all know how small Bluetooth headsets already are, but this one from China might just trump them all. Making an appearance on the FCC, the BTE018 Bluetooth headset from Zhongshan K-mate General Elec. Co., Ltd. measures a nigh diminutive 32mm x 22mm x 11mm while tipping the scales at 6 grams – this is less than the weight of a nickel and a penny. Using it is simple enough – you have only a solitary multifunction button to choose from, where it will handle call answering, hanging up, mute, and transferring functions. The device itself does not come with any volume controls though, so you will still have to control that from the phone. We have no word on pricing or availability at press time, but its small size does open the door to questions as to how sensitive its microphone is, and how many of it will you lose before you decide to get a larger Bluetooth headset.
