Buffalo announces BRXL-6FBS-BK for BDXL disc burning

If you have tons of memories to store for posterity in a digital format, then regular DVDs just won’t quite make the cut these days with the advent of High Definition video and what-not. Blu-ray discs are great, but even then their 50GB of storage space might not be enough for some of you more, er, enthusiastic downloaders out there, which is why Buffalo has come up with the BRXL-6FBS-BK burner that does the larger capacity BDXL disc burning as well. Meant to ship in Japan from next month onwards, this is touted to be the first PC BDXL disc burner in the world. No idea on pricing, but it should hit the streets in the Land of the Rising Sun pretty soon.
