Chrome Beta Gets Acceleration, WebGL, Google Instant, Expose Tabs, And More

Google has posted its first beta of Chrome 7, and there are some interesting improvements in the coming version of Google’s browser. This browser is the first to implement Google Instant and will optionally update search results from the main search bar, not just from Google’s site. Mac users will enjoy the new expose-like view of all tabs that can be triggered by a three-finger swipe on the trackpad, though Windows users will have to make do with a sidebar that shows the active tabs. Graphics acceleration will play a more prominent role for CSS transformations, and WebGL 3D graphics technology. Google is currently planning to introduce new revisions every six weeks, and we’re looking forward to what the search giant will be offering next.
