Customize Your Own Android Phone From $410

Unhappy with the phones that are currently offered by the common manufactures out there? Maybe you’d like something made to your specifications instead. A small startup company in Germany called Synapse is now offering to create Android 2.2 devices that feature custom specifications. The site’s been having quite a bit of trouble staying online, due to the amount of traffic that it’s generating, so don’t fret if you can’t access it just yet. Specifications include a 4-inch multi-touch display, 3G, 4G (LTE and WiMAX), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, up to a 12-megapixel camera, mini-HDMI output and more. Pricing will start at EUR299 ($410), and it’s currently up for pre-order, with an expected shipping date in the middle of Q1 2011.
