Edifier Soundbar USB targets notebook owners

Edifier’s latest Soundbar USB peripheral will attempt to add some oomph to your music listening and movie watching experience on a notebook. As we all know, unless you have a souped up notebook or desktop replacement with above average speakers, most regular notebooks have rather pathetic sounding audio output – which is where the Edifier Soundbar USB comes in to do its bit. Measuring 1.5 inches tall and 10.5 inches long, it will sit on top of a notebook, running off USB power to keep it portable without the need for another power supply. To make maters more interesting, woofers and tweeters are built-in for superior audio quality, where the $49 Edifier Soundbar USB will play nice with just about any Mac, Windows PC or other computer that supports USB audio.
