Facebook User Interface Redesign On The Way?

Folks have been speculating as to what the upcoming Facebook event will be about, and now word is out that it’ll likely be a user interface redesign, with some users already reporting that they’re seeing a new version of Facebook Chat appearing on the site, with the chat portion being moved to the left side of the screen. Changes should include larger profile pictures in the chat window, and Profile pages will be revamped to look similar to Places pages. If you’re a Facebook veteran, you’ll probably know that historically there’s usually a huge surge of complaints by folks who are dissatisfied with the new changes, so you can expect plenty of rants to appear on your Facebook wall, not to mention a million groups that will be named “if we can get 1,000,000 people to join this group, Facebook will revert to the old user interface”. Of course, if you’re looking for Facebook groups to join, why not join our cool Ubergizmo Facebook page?
