Huawei IDEOS C8150 spotted at FCC

Another day, another device that goes through the FCC’s stringent tests. Well, Huawei’s IDEOS line of Android-powered smartphones will be expanded further with the C8150. While very little was revealed in the FCC documents, we do know that the touchscreen display itself will be no larger than 3-inches in size, featuring Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a camera and GPS navigation capability. FCC test reports do point towards the C8150 supportting the CDMA/EVDO 850 frequency, where it will be heading towards U.S. Cellular. Since Huawei tends to be an OEM manufacturer Stateside, the C8150 will most probably sport a US Cellular brand. As with most devices that arrive on the FCC, there isn’t any word on pricing or availability.
