iDuple Internet tablet from India

iDuple of India recently mentioned that they are working on an Internet tablet device that sports just one app – a Web browser. Now how useful is that in this day and age, you ask? After all, since it lacks a hard drive, it should have a pretty fast boot up time of mere seconds, and since it will remotely connect to a server that runs a virtual operating system, you can still run apps and perform various functions that you never thought possible on such a tablet device. It goes without saying you will need to remain connected to the server at all times then if you were to take advantage of this Web tablet, which can be quite a bummer if you’re frequently on the road since Internet connectivity isn’t exactly a staple everywhere else in the world.
