John Carmack to port Rage over to Android operating system

The name John Carmack is often mentioned in whispers of reverence amongst gamers, especially since we’re talking about the co-founder of id Software as well as lead programmer of superb genre-defining games such as Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and Quake. Well, John recently tweeted that he is looking to port Rage over to Android, which means it will no longer be an iPhone 4 exclusive. On the Apple handset, the graphics were nothing short of incredible (what else did you expect from John – to cut corners?), so it is nice to know Android handsets do have the processing muscle to handle such a graphically complex game as well.
