Lesance GSN801GAW is ugly duckling on the outside, but beautiful swan on the inside

At first glance (as well as subsequent ones), the Lesance GSN801GAW will definitely come across as a non-looker where notebooks are concerned, and with a converted price point of €3,760, most people would be turned off by it as well. Don’t judge a book by its cover though (in this case it would be do not judge a notebook by its chassis), as underneath the ugly exterior lies enough power to turn this into a desktop replacement. After all, who are we to argue with a quad core Intel Core i7 940XM Extreme Edition, 8GB RAM, a 160GB SSD (MLC) X25-M installed in RAID 0 configuration, a 500GB hard drive, with a choice between a GeForce GTX 480M with 2GB of VRAM or two Mobility Radeon HD5870 in CrossFire, a Blu-ray burner and a stunning 18.4-inch full HD monitor? Certainly not us, but make sure you can find a power outlet everywhere you go if you plan to perform some heavy duty gaming with this.
