Marvell Quad-core Armada Processor Won't Arrive On Mobile Devices

You might remember earlier reports of the quad-core Armada processor from Marvell, and while we’re looking forward to those chips, the bad news is that Marvell’s Jack Kang claims that the chips are too power hungry for devices that aren’t hooked to a power cord. That being said, it was confirmed that this quad-core chip is the chip that will be powering a new gaming system that was reported a while back, though it probably won’t be Nintendo’s 3DS console, due to the power issues mentioned before this.
