A Windows 7 Home Premium license will normally set you back a good $100, but Microsoft is trying to entice users of older operating systems to upgrade with the offer of the Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade Family pack for less than $150, which is good for three licenses, giving you some significant savings. Currently the deal is only valid in the US but Microsoft will be expanding the promotion to additional countries on October 22nd. The current promotion will apparently be valid while supplies last, though it wasn’t specifically mentioned how many Family Packs have been allocated by Microsoft, so if you’ve been thinking of upgrading, now may be a good time to do so.
