Mitsubishi Motors To Test Electric Pickup And Delivery Vehicle

Everybody is jumping on the green bandwagon nowadays and Mitsubishi Motors Corp and Yamato Transport Co Ltd will be starting a field test of an electric pickup and delivery vehicle prototyped by Mitsubishi Motors. The companies will be evaluating the practicality of the vehicle by collecting data when it’s in operation and analyzing it. The electric vehicle (EV) is based on Mitsubishi Motor’s Minicab Van gasoline-driving commercial light van. The motor and li-ion battery used this time will be from its i-MiEV EV. If everything goes according to plan, it’s aiming at an early commercialization of the commercial electric light van.
