We previously caught wind of the modular Modu T-Phone and now word is out that Modu has scheduled a press conference on October 10th 2010 to announce its new Android-powered phone. Specific details on the phone weren’t mentioned, but it’s expected to be similar to its predecessors by offering interchangeable jackets that can add new functionality. The jackets could introduce features such as a physical keyboard, stereo speakers, gaming keypads, and more. The main unit itself should have built-in Wi-Fi and either GSM or CDMA 3G.
