MSI wants in on the tablet game as well, which is why the WindPad tablet has been spotted – it’s renders, that is. No specifications were to escort the images, so one can only assume that nothing has changed, from its 10.1-inch display to an Intel Atom Z530 1.66GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and a 32GB solid-state drive alongside a full version of Windows 7. There is also the possibility of an Android-powered version, although that will most probably see an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip in action. An HDMI port and USB port ought to be staples with the tablet as well regardless of which operating system it will run on. While the hardware might be impressive, we do wonder whether the software will be able to live up to expectations as that’s where the value is at these days.
