Nokia has just launched its latest inexpensive touchscreen smartphone, dubbed the C5-03. This budget phone is powered by Symbian^1 (aka. S60 5th edition touch-edition). Despite its budget category, the phone features a compass and A-GPS feature that can be used with the latest version of the free Ovi Maps hands-free navigation service. The use of a resistive touchscreen instead of a multi-touch capacitive display is slightly disappointing, but features generally aren’t too bad, as it includes:
- 3.2-inch resistive touchscreen display
- Wi-Fi
- A-GPS
- Compass
- Ovi Maps
- 40MB of user memory
- microSD card support up to 16GB
- 11.5-hour talktime on GSM, 4.5-hours on 3G
- 24-25 day standby time
- Symbian^1
- 5-megapixel camera
