Nokia’s C7, the second Symbian^3-powered device that has arrived in the market, has been discovered to carry an NFC (Near Field Communication) chip within. One thing about it though – it remains unused for the moment, making us wonder when will they do something about it to take advantage of all that potential. Basically, NFC technology will enable the exchange of data between devices that which are within proximity of one another (we’re talking about around 10cm here). Will we see future firmware updates supporting the NFC chip within in the C7? Perhaps, so keep your fingers crosse that the Nokia C7 will deliver its full potential sometime down the road.
