NTT Japan Offers A USB Box To Share With The Cloud

The N-Transfer black box from Japan might not seem impressive at first, but it functions similar to the Pogoplug. The device allows users to plug in their USB 2.0 storage devices, scanners and printers, connecting them to the cloud without the need for a computer. NTT Japan offers a couple of special tricks up its sleeve, most notably the N-Transfer allows users to share a pair of USB ports across a web interface, and you’ll be able to transfer up to 500MB of files point-to-point across the company’s high-speed fiber optic Internet with boxes on both ends. Users will even be able to upload documents from a Fujitsu ScanSnap or Epson Colorio scanner directly to Evernote, making your life a lot easier. If you’re living in Japan at the moment, you’ll be able to order it at 7,350 Yen ($90) at Amazon.
