If you love performance and have money to burn, you’ll be drooling over OCZ’s RevoDrive X2 PCI-Express SSD. This second iteration feels very much like the first, but offers a juicy 740MB/s and up to 120,000 IOPS of performance, up from the 540MB/sec of the original. The performance boost can be attributed to the use of four SandForce SF-1200 controllers instead of two in the original. The RAID 0 design is still retained, also contributing a little to performance and it’s already available in capacities from 100GB to 960GB, though pricing wasn’t mentioned.
