
Olympus has announced that it will be rolling out its new E-5 DSLR from October 29th onwards, where it will retail for $1,700 a pop. First announced at Photokina 2010, this weather-sealed camera will ship with a 12-megapixel live MOS sensor, a 920k dot 2.7-inch LCD display, Live View with Contrast Autofocus, High Definition video recording alongside shutter speeds of up to 1/8000th second. Not only that, October 29th will be when Olympus will be rolling out their M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm 1:4.0-5.6 Micro Four Thirds zoom lens as well, where that will be going in the region of $580.
