Panasonic to unveil Lumix branded phone next week at CEATEC

CEATEC 2010 will be the platform where Panasonic rolls out a spanking new Lumix-branded phone. As to whether it will fall under the smartphone category or not, it remains to be seen, but what we know would be this much – you can’t veer too far off tangent by saying that the Lumix brand will be associated with a digital camera, so expect this phone to be a fabulous shooter as it is announced at CEATEC, Japan next week. It will come equipped with the Panasonic Mobile VenusEngine which features digital zoom, a 3-megapixel resolution image as well as Panasonic Jump Picture technology that lets you share photos with friends effortlessly using DLNA or Wi-Fi connectivity. Spend the weekend relaxing, and let Panasonic worry about making a splash at CEATEC next week.
