Pantech Laser from AT&T is thinnest slider handset yet

AT&T’s Pantech Laser is touted to be the company’s thinnest slider phone to date, where it measures all of 9.95mm wide. This pseudo-smartphone will be equipped with a 3.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display alongside a full sliding QWERTY keyboard and a 3-megapixel camera to help you get started right out of the box. The Pantech Laser also has its Drawing Commander function up its sleeve that enables you to make calls, open messages and appes via a simple shape trace with your finger. It won’t cost too much either at $99 a $50 rebate on a 2-year contract when October 17th rolls around. Expect staple AT&T offerings like AT&T Address Book, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Social Net and AT&T Mobile Share to be included with each purchase. Seems right to be a mid-range phone if you need one at the moment.
