Pioneer unveiled its HVT audio system concept at the recently concluded CEATEC in Japan. Before we proceed, let us enlighten you on the acronym HVT, where it stands for ‘Horizontal Vertical Transforming’. Why name it so? Well, this rather complex naming convention is due to the way the speakers work, where they will convert the horizontal motion of the voice coil into a vertical motion, enabling the speakers to maintain a slim profile without sacrificing on performance and output. It is currently under the development stage and Pioneer hopes to see the HVT concept enter the lucrative car audio market in the near future. Something this slim will definitely rock our socks off, even more so in a car or vehicle.
