Plantronics introduces K100 in-car speakerphone

Talking on your cellphone without a hands-free kit is a huge no-no in many countries, simply because it would make you a danger to yourself as well as other motorists since your attention will be diverted away from what’s happening on the road and around you. Well, Plantronics aims to help you out in such a situation with their K100 in-car speakerphone. This hands-free speaker will boast an integrated FM transmitter, allowing you to enjoy conversations, music, podcasts and GPS navigation directly from your smartphone via the vehicle’s stereo system. Other hardware features include dual microphones, digital signal processing technology, and echo-cancellation. The K100 will also deliver voice alerts for pairing, low battery, mute and connection status, offering up to 17 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time. Those living across the pond can pick one up from November onwards for £59.99 – not too shabby, eh?
