The US release of Medal of Honor proved a couple of things – war games is not quite the proverbial dead horse just yet, and it has also seen Sony countering the piracy-enabling PSJailbreak simply by locking the code to the 3.42 firmware. Although “backups” of the game can be found online at the moment, it will be rendered unplayable with the hack as is. Chances are Sony is hoping for its current counter-measures against the Jailbreak being able to usher in a piracy-free Christmas, what with key titles like Gran Turismo 5 and Call of Duty: Black Ops being prepared for a rollout by then.
