Another day, another Android-powered phone. This time around we have the Samsung Galaxy 551 which is also recognized by its model number I5510, where it will run on Android 2.2 Froyo right out of the box. To ease the transition for folks who have been used to a physical keyboard all these years, the Galaxy 551 will sport a physical sliding QWERTY keyboard. Of course, this won’t be at the top of the hill in terms of hardware specifications being a mid-range phone, but it is powered by a 667MHz processor, accompanied by a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen TFT display at 240×400 pixels, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, a 3-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, DLNA and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS support, an integrated FM radio, Social Hub, DivX support, 160MB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot. We hope to see it hit the FCC soon, but it will arrive in Europe this November for 389 Euros.
