According to DSG Group, the folks behind PC World, the suggested retail price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablet, slated to launch on November 1st, will be £599.99 for a contract-free option in the UK. That price is a bit more than what Apple charges for its base WiFi + 3G iPad model at £529. Customers can also buy the iPad with carrier subsidy by signing on for a voice and data plan–the international version of the Galaxy Tab can be used as a phone and as a data tablet, the former feature will be missing on the U.S. release of the tablet.
