At long last, the pricing details for the Samsung Galaxy Tab in the UK have been announced, and it will retail for £599.99 if you decide to pick it up sans a contract. That’s still rather hefty, considering folks living in Sweden can get theirs for free on a 2-year contract, or roughly $600 after conversion if you want to settle for a one-year contract instead. What does 600 quid net you? Well, it is the equivalent of the 32GB 3G Apple iPad, but at least the Samsung Galaxy Tab comes with a microSD memory card slot that can double the storage space, boasting call making abilities as well.
