Samsung NF310 officially announced, to hit retail stores soon

Samsung’s NF310 netbook has finally made the jump from being a speculated product to the real deal in an official announcement, where it will sport a 10.1-inch display alongside an Intel Atom N50 dual-core 1.5GHz processor, accompanied by 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi connectivity, Windows 7 as the operating system of choice, stereo speakers and a battery life which is touted to run for up to 9 hours. Not too shabby, especially the battery life part since most netbooks these days are capable of lasting a trans-Atlantic flight so it is nice to see the NF310 keep up with the top of the pack. No idea on the exact release date just yet, but expect it to arrive somewhere in the region of $400. This won’t be a game-changer or best-seller, but it is an decent alternative for those who want to bring home a new netbook.
