Seagate BlackArmor NAS Box Is Now Equipped With 3TB Drives

With large capacity 3TB drives becoming more common, it shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that Seagate has introduced 3TB drives to its 2- and 4-slot BlackArmor NAS boxes, taking the maximum capacity to 12TB. Both boxes are preconfigured with 3TB drives in each bay, saving you the trouble of shopping around for them yourself. The BlackArmor NAS440 will be configured with RAID 5, ships with 10 backup software licenses and will set you back $1,899.99 while the BlackArmor NAS220 is configured with RAID 1 for data mirroring, 5 backup software licenses and will set you back $649.99. Is 12TB of network-attached storage enough to keep you happy for the next few months?
