Shift3 delivers LookBook to the FCC

Another day, another e-book reader gets ready to penetrate the ever growing market. Is this just a fad, or does it have legitimate ground to take over books completely? We are holding out for a peaceful co-existence, as a physical book will certainly be able to hold much more memories, ranging from dog-eared classics to perhaps a love story with endearing notes slipped in between during your younger, courtship days. You can’t do that with a cold piece of machine, can you? Still, if you’re all for a paperless situation, the Shift3 LookBook is being prepared to hit the market as it has just gone through the FCC’s hoops today, boasting features including Wi-Fi connectivity, a QWERTY keypad, 512MB of internal memory that can be expanded by an SD memory card, and support for Kobo’s eBook store. No mention of availability, so stay tuned.
