Sintek, an Apple component supplier, mentioned this morning that they are not trialling touchscreen displays for a future version of the Apple iMac despite rumors that have been floating around the Internet. According to Sintek Photronics spokesperson Barry Wu, such claims that circulated last week were baseless. Still, you know what they say about rumors – there is no smoke without any fire, so we still wonder whether rumors of Apple exploring methods to implement an iOS-like touch in its Macs will eventually be true or not remains to be seen. Time will cure this dilemma, as with any other speculation in the past.
