T Mobile G2 owners want permanent hack, willing to offer cash

The HTC G2 for T-Mobile is somewhat a phenomenon. While it can be hacked and rooted, it seemed that the G2 is capable of repairing itself the moment the handset was reset. Needless to say, this has led to plenty of frustration for some folks who are sick and tired of going through the whole process each time the phone was reset. Since money talks, a group of users decide to do it the old fashioned way – offering a wad of cash, where the first person (or group) who comes up with a permanent hack to the G2′s protection system will be able to earn some pocket money. Right now, the bounty stands at $631, with around $400 of that amount being sent in while the remainder are verbal pledges. Any takers?
