It seems that there is always going to be a spot of bad news accompanying the release of a new phone, and the freshly-launched T-Mobile G2 is no exception. First up, it seems that some units are shipping with loose hinges, with the most obvious situation being that the screen will be dangling down when you hold the phone upside down. It’s not a killer issue, since you’re not going to be holding your phone upside down most of the time, but it can be an irritating issue. The other issue is that some units seem to only have 2GB internal storage space, half of the promised 4GB. The exact reason behind this isn’t exactly clear just yet, but if you’ve received your G2 recently, you might want to take a peek at the internal storage and make sure that everything is just fine.
