T-Mobile Rolling Out myTouch 3G Android 2.2 Upgrade This Week

T-Mobile had committed to giving the myTouch 3G an upgrade to Android 2.2 Froyo, and the carrier is making good on its promise, with upgrades to begin rolling out tomorrow. However, not all devices will get the upgrade right away as the roll out will happen through October 25th, so you’ll have to be a little patient if you don’t get the upgrade right away. The bad news, unfortunately, is that the upgrade at this time is limited to the original myTouch 3G. Owners of the Android-powered Fender Edition or the myTouch 3G Slide will have to wait for the update to their devices at a later date.
