Tesla did make quite a splash with its Tesla Roadster when it was released last year, bringing electric cars to the next level with its performance and looks. Well, not all is fine and dandy in Tesla-land, as the company has just issued a recall of 439 Roadsters to be exact after discovering the presence of a redundant 12v auxiliary cable which rubs against a carbon fiber panel on the car itself. The cable is used to power a range of auxiliary electrical systems if the primary cable fails, where it will then be inspected and fitted with a protective sleeve to prevent any unwanted happenings (such as a fire). Not all Roadsters are affected by this though, save for 2.0 and 2.5 Roadsters. This is one of those rare moments where early adopters who picked up the 1.5 models are not affected by the recall.
