
For those BlackBerry advocates in the United Arab Emirates, you will be pleased to know that the October 11 deadline is looming right on the horizon for RIM (Research In Motion) to comply with its “telecommunications regulatory framework,” but the folks over at RIM have outdone themselves, with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reporting that the BlackBerry manufacturer has come up with relevant changes to meet said framework. Ultimately, this means you won’t suffer from state-ordained curtailing of email, web, or BBM services within the UAE. This is similar to agreements that BlackBerry ironed out with India and Saudi Arabia.
