Upcoming Motorola Flagship Is The Terminator

We previously caught wind of a Motorola phone that will feature NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor and will be powered by Android Gingerbread. In case you’ve got a penchant for names, the device will apparently be dubbed the Terminator, though it wasn’t mentioned if the name was intended to terminate the competition (pun intended). If the rumors are accurate, Motorola has issued some rather strict non-disclosure agreements to keep this phone under wraps, though it’s obvious that some information has leaked out. Don’t expect the phone to arrive this year, though, as Motorola will be splitting into two companies next year, with Sanjay Jha taking over as CEO of Motorola Mobility. While corporate positions might not be of interest to you, this time the Terminator is apparently Sanjay Jha’s “baby” and is slated to be an early defining moment as the leader of the new Motorola Mobility. Will this device really flatten the competition? Now that would be interesting.
