Verizon Announces The Rugged Casio GzOne Ravine

Verizon has just announced a third member to Casio’s rugged G’zOne line of phones with the G’zOne Ravine, which sports a clamshell form factor less commonly found in rugged phones. As expected, the phone conforms to the MIL-STD-810G standard and is dust-, water-, shock-, and vibration-, resistant, along with being able to deal with humidity, salt fog, solar radiation, high and low temperatures. Three sensors are included in this phone, part of the Triple Sensor technology, which are the direction, accelerator, and temperature sensors. The Casio G’zOne Ravine will be available from Verizon soon for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract. Other technical specifications of this phone include:
