Verizon has confirmed that it will be offering the 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab from November 11, priced at $600 without a requirement for a data plan. If you do desire to not rely on Wi-Fi, you’ll be able to purchase a $20/month data plan on a month-to-month basis for 1GB of data. Will it be able to challenge or even topple Apple’s iPad? Only time will tell, but it does have some juicy specifications that will attract consumers, such as its 7-inch display, Android 2.2, 1GHz Hummingbird processor and Verizon’s 3G data network.
