WD Photos Viewer App Now Optimized For iPad And iPhone 4

Western Digital has just announced its updated WD Photos picture viewer app, which has now been optimized for the iPad and iPhone 4. The app is already available as a free download from iTunes, and provides remote access to photos stores on a WD network had drive, including the My Book World Edition, My Book Live, and WD ShareSpace. The images displayed will be in the native iPad and iPhone resolution, and users will be able to access up to 285,000 of their favorite photos anywhere via the Internet. The app also supports pinch and zoom functionality, horizontal split view, instantly post photos to Facebook, new slideshow transitions, increased 5GB capacity support, and iPad full screen support at 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.
