Who would have thought that something as traditional as a recorder from Zoom would finally get an “upgrade” in the form of video recording capability? Yes, that’s what the Zoom Q3HD is capable of doing, not only making sure every word does not escape its attention, but it is full well capable of delivering 1080p, 30fps video with stereo microphones to deliver the entire pocket camcorder experience. If you decide to drop the resolution to 720p, then expect the framerate to increase to 60fps if you so desire. Powered by a couple of AA batteries, you can always hook it up to your TV thanks to its HDMI port for a clearer viewing experience. The Zoom Q3HD will be out later this fall for $299 if you’re interested.
