Zune 4.7 Launched With Windows Phone 7 Support

If you got lost amongst all the Windows Phone 7 announcements, you might have missed the fact that Microsoft also released its latest version of Zune media player and sync software, Zune 4.7. The main improvement in Zune 4.7 will be the necessary support for Windows Phone 7 devices while maintaining support for the Zune HD and other Zune hardware. HD video streaming is also included as part of the update and users will have access to Zune Pass Music, TV shows, movies, trailers, and podcasts. Zune services will be included as part of Windows Phone 7 devices that can be accessed through the Music+Video hub and it will be able to sync contact data and other non-media info. Existing Zune users will be urged to update their software very soon.
