Acer Brings High-Resolution Android Tablets

Acer announced a pair of Android-powered tablets today. The tablets sport a 7-inch and 10-inch display and features a resolution of 1280 X 800, which is higher than the 1024 X 600 resolution on the 7-inch Galaxy Tab display made by Samsung. The tablets will feature a dual-core processor and will run Android with Flash 10.1 support, meaning that it will run at least Android 2.2 Froyo. There’s also HDMI out, 10-finger multitouch recognition, gyroscope, and integrated 3G for mobile broadband connections. Both tablets are slated to ship in April 2011, and the 7-inch will boast Dolby Mobile Technology for great audio.
