The National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) has gone through months of beta testing and technical revisions on their updated version of Africa Rural Connect (ARC), a program which was specially conceived by the NPCA last year so that folks around the world can collaborate online to develop ways to help solve rural Africa’s greatest challenges. Currently in version 3.0, the relaunched ARC will include additional interactive tools and features to maximize the online collaborative experience. Wegora software will power ARC, enabling users to read and remix each other’s ideas at the press of a button. On the website itself, you can check out your activities, separate lists for remixes, posted ideas, comments, endorsements, pledges and any ideas one is following. With better integration for a collaborative effort, we do hope that ARC can help alleviate some of Africa’s problems soon.
