Altec Lansing Octiv Stage iPad dock announced

Altec Lansing must have decided that the iPad accessory market was way too lucrative to pass up, which is why they have introduced the Octiv Stage iPad dock. This device will also keep your iPad juiced up whenever connected as with any good docking device should, letting you position your iPad in a horizontal or vertical manner courtesy of a rotating arm. The same rotating arm will also allow you to tilt the display for viewing or more comfortable typing, which ever you choose. Each $150 purchase will come with a wireless remote control for couch potatoes, letting you control music playback without having to get up from your La-Z-Boy chair. Two 50mm neodymium speakers were also specially tuned to deliver a more center channel-like performance that results in better dialogue, apart from stereo audio depending on the source. iPods and iPhones are also welcomed to fit snugly into this dock, while those who own non-Apple hardware can always hook up their devices via a 3.5mm auxiliary jack.
