We covered news of the Archos 43 being available for pre-order earlier, and now have news that the Android 2.2-powered tablet is shipping already. Just to refresh your memory, the Archos 43 will feature a 4.3-inch display at 854 x 480 resolution coupled with Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth connectivity, an HDMI output, 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded upon thanks to a microSD memory card slot. The ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor will power everything from within, while graphics support for 3D OpenGL ES 2.0 is also thrown into the mix. You can view 720p HD video on its display, but better yet when you make use of its HDMI port by hooking it up to an HDTV. With its rear-facing camera, you can also record 720p videos for your viewing pleasure. The Archos 43 also boasts support for the Samba and UPnP protocols, letting you hook up to media servers and computers to stream media sans wires.
