BendDesk: Multi-touch Workspace On A Curved Display

The smart folks over at The Media Computing Group have come up with an impressive curved multi-touch workspace. The display is curved to form a 90 degree bend and uses two projectors, three cameras and IR lights to track up to 10 points. The video after the jump demonstrates the device being used to sort photos and also play a game similar to Space Invaders. This prototype isn’t up for sale anytime soon, but it has piqued our interest enough that we hope that we can see its technology used in commercial products sometime soon.
