The folks over at the FCC have dropped some hints on the upcoming BlackBerry 8980, a device that is presumed to be a successor to the Curve 8900. The phone is pictured above and will feature a quad-band GSM antenna, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3.2-megapixel camera with flash and, if the information on the user manual is accurate, will be powered by BlackBerry OS 5 (boo). The device looks physically similar to the BlackBerry 9700, which is probably good news, since the phone is rather popular.
