Scattered reports are coming in around the Internet saying that the beloved Symbian^3-powered Nokia N8 are stopping to work. Users are noting that the device isn’t powering on nor is even charging. Hexus reported the issue while in the process of reviewing the device, noting that it won’t turn on. A tweet from Eldar Murtazin, of Mobile-Review, confirms the claim: “Story repeat itself. Nokia N8 like 5800 has damage parts in first production volumes. N8 are dying across the world. All phones are affected.” IntoMobile is reporting that a dealer in Malaysia and a user in Thailand are noticing this failure to power on issue, and Nokia hasn’t issued a statement yet into the matter.
